Oh how I wish it were the other way around.

I found that changing from the buttery and sugary tastes I loved was a really gradual thing but that eventually my taste buds are catching up to where I want to be.

Have a great weekend.ani pestohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04634396778826130881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1347188239257055924.post-11776983348470791492009-03-26T10:37:00.000-05:002009-03-26T10:37:00.000-05:00Ohhhhh I've been impaitently waiting for our snow ...Ohhhhh I've been impaitently waiting for our snow to go away so I could start hanging my clothes on the line again but now we are getting dumped on with more snow. argh. bite me mother nature. we hang dry in our basement during the winter months. As for making things soft I've heard that if you add vinegar to the wash it's suppose to make things soft. PLEASE google it first as I have not tried it.
And for the oats. I do just like Kath does. 1/3 cup oats (NOT quick oats), 1/3 cup milk, 1/3 cup water, and 1/2 banana. I turn the heat on half way and leave it sit until it starts to bubble. Then I start to stir. If you notice it starting to stick to the bottom then reduce the heat and keep stirring. Cook to your desired consistancy. I like mine a little runny as I don't like it chunky. After it's cooked to your desired consistency I add vanilla and cinnamon. And you can top it with whatever healthy choices you prefer. I used to be one that loaded my oatmeal with brown sugar and milk and this way of making it has been a life saver!
Just keep trying. No matter your failures just keep trying.
