Tuna Squish Review & Giveaway

What is Tuna Squish?

The Tuna Squish is handheld press that allows you to drain the liquid of a tuna can. Nothing worst than spelling like tuna. YUCK!!! It removes and ejects the lid from the can with minimal effort. Check out Tuna Squish for more info or to order your Tuna Squish today.

How does the Tuna Squish work?

1. Insert an opened can of tuna
2. squeeze the handles turn it side to drain it.
3. Put your tuna in a bowl or other container.
4. Separate the handles, magnet in the upper handle lifts the lid so you do not have to even touch it. 
5. Press the release button to dump in right in the trash.

Over all the product is okay, however I do not think it is great as they claim it to be. I think it would be much faster to just keep the lid on press down on the meat as the water rises of the lid and hold the lid and dump. That is how I have always done it, but to each their own. I still feel that I still got tuna and the water it is in all over me. Actually, I feel that I probably got more on me. The day I test the product out I even spilled it out all over the place. I think maybe if I used it more and got used to it maybe it would be more beneficial. I got more tuna the other day so I'll let my followers know how it goes as I try it again.

I was seriously intending to post about this contest quite awhile ago but my life has been so hectic lately. First I want to thank Laurie, and especially Progresso for holding the Souper You Contest. I was sent a package and that huge box included a big box of progresso soup, of various flavors. Progresso sent me a gift pack, the progresso soup and all information pertaining to this contest. I really love Progresso Soup. I can't say that enough. Next to my own soup I think that its the best soup out there. If you are any sort of diet Progresso even is low calorie enough to stay on point, and even helps with point Counting if you are on The Weight Watchers plan. There are even some low- sodium progresso soups if your concerned with salt intake. In the package I received it included several cans of Chicken Noodle Soup. If you know me, then you know I love me some Chicken Noodle. Growing up we always got the cheap kind with the little noodles and the little pieces of chicken. As I became an adult I learned how to make my own Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. With chunks of chicken and bigger noodles :) Click on the link for the recipe to my own soup. They gave me Plain chicken noodle, low fat chicken noodle, low sodium. I'm not saying its the best soup out there but, I think it has chunkier chicken in its packaging. HYC Check in

I wanted to check in real quick. I usually forget all about check in to the Healthy You Challenge and I'm usually late. So I wanted to make it a point to do so today. I really want to get back on schedule. I've been so down in the dumps lately. I'm trying to bring myself out of it though. My workouts seem to help. Last night my husband said I was crying in my sleep last night. Dunno don't remember it. 

Anyways, I got my husband to bring in my treadmill over a week ago. I think its the best thing he could had done for me. I'm trying to get everything done especially my homework before he comes home and I'm taking at LEAST 30 minutes a day to MYSELF! I've been walking a mile in about 20 minutes give or take how I'm feeling that day. I noticed I weighed less back in May than I do now, but I haven't weighed in over 2 weeks and I'm about 6lbs less so not really sure where to begin. I've gain some weight in the last couple months. So, I'm working to get that weight of now. ugh :(( But, I'm walking everyday and I can see the improvements. 
here are my goals for the week:

Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day
a daily multivitamin
30 mins of exercises everyday
more fruits and veggies

My Day and a Giveaway

My day started around 5am. I think I slept more when I was actually work than I do now that I'm laid off. Marty went back to work in September and it seems like leah is doing exactly what she used to do before his car accident. She'd get up before he went into work I guess to see him off...lol
I had to post office to keep all of my mail from where i live now and The new address cause,I am suppose to get on unemployment but have yet to see a check. Its been almost a month since I signed up and haven't got a check yet. ugh! I know they won't forward it to my new address and I'm afraid its going to be sent back and I won't get one at all :-( hopefully eventually it will get all straightened out.
DH wanted to drive my Jeep so he was going to leave his pick up truck with me but,what does he do yep,you guess it. He took not only my jeep keys but his keys as well. had planned on getting some more stuff moved today but,nope can't do it today. ugh! So irritating. I didn't even have the house keys. oh well,maybe tomorrow. is giving away a cute little personlized stationary set. So Cute!! I hope all of you are having a Great Weekend! Its Sunday and Have yet to hold up to my New Year Resolution and Start going to Church Every Sunday. I Really feel bad about it and I know I need to go but,living with my husbands family my life seems so out of balance so,hopefully once we get moved things will be more in order.

Leah is sick yet again! She has this old crud AKA a Bad head cold. Every since she was little every time she gets sick her left eye waters like crazy and has thick icky green goo.. But,she has some antibiotics that she's on so maybe this will help that. So,now I've got it. Yesterday was my Moms Birthday. Happy Birthday mom! Dad was buying some cake and ice cream and was going to go but,I hated to get leah back out in this weather and get her even more sick. Plus after packing and putting things in the new house I just felt awful. We haven't got the utilities turned on yet and its so cold here and I was freezing' to death! It took most of the night to warm back up. How in the world does Homeless ppl survive in weather like this?

I tried doing my Unemployment over the phone this morning and the TIPS Line was BUSY! ugh so figures so thought I'd try it online and I put my info in and it said my account was frozen or something????? So now I'm going to have to go to the office in the morning which I'm thinking they'll be closed? I think tomorrow is MLK Day. I will have to look at the calendar. So I probably won't even get a check this week. So aggravating. Hopefully soon I can get this straightened out and get my checks coming in soon.

I wanted to blog about a Giveaway over at An Ordinary Life that ends Jan. 28th They are giving away a Guitar Hero which is my Husbands Favorite Video game and he doesn't even own it. He borrowed it when it came out on The PlayStation and he just loves this game. So who knows maybe I'll win and I can give it to him for an Anniversary Gift. Our Anniversary is a little over a month away. February 20Th.

I weighed in today at 264 even. My weigh ins this past week was off! I didn't weigh in last Sunday which is when I usually weigh myself so,I went ahead and weighed in on Wednesday. I'm really really wanting a treadmill so I can get my walking in and not worry about having to go out. Would make it so much easier. I'm a Stay @ Home mom and its too cold to have Leah out right now and Hubby gets up at 4:30am to get ready for work and he usually doesn't get home till around 7pm. So,Don't really have the option to have him watch her while I workout. So,maybe soon. we will get a Treadmill and I can just workout at home. So,maybe in a few weeks I will have one. I'm also aiming to get a Wii Fit. Maybe I can do these 2 activities and not have to leave the comfort of my own home. I thought I could do these while Leah is napping or at night after she goes to bed.
